Lagan Homes – Planning Meeting Tuesday 25th August 2026

Residents will be aware that the HBBC Planning meeting to discuss and decide upon the Lagan Homes Outline planning application for 470 houses on Burroughs Road ref 24/00914/OUT is due to go before planning committee on Tuesday 25th August 2026.

Villages Together a group of some 60 Parish Councils in Leicestershire applied for, but were unsuccessful in getting a slot to speak at the meeting, however the group has been allowed to submit a late submission a copy of which is attached here.

The document details collective objections from neighbouring Parish Councils Groby, Kirby muxloe, Markfield, LFE and Desford on the cumulative impact of all the planning applications in the area.
